compressor wont shut off part 2

my compressor wont shut of and the tank pressure is reading 167 psi. it stays on even when i take out the key.

and was told it was probally the sensor. so i purchased another sensor and replaced the relay. this worked for about 20 minutes of run time before it happened again.

ill assume i didnt get 2 faulty sensors in a row so what else could be causing this.

Sin,

unplug the relay from the main control unit (two pin white molex plug with one gray wire and one orange wire.) The compressor should turn off.
If it does not, the relay is stuck and is supplying power to the compressor all the time.

Let me know what you find.
