I have the cool ride system in my mustang, and Ive been reading on your site about it. I bought the car with this suspension and from what I have read this isnt the suspension to handle power. how true is this. can I get away with 400-450 horsepower and still be safe?

Where did you read that??? :D Our Forza ' stang was rated about 420 at the wheels, wasn' t it, Darren? And it handled awesomely. As a matter of fact, our guys still run it on the autocross whenever possible. :) Check out our company projects section for more info on the ' 05 and the ' 69, which I' ve seen at several events and can vouch for. It' s about 530hp, I think, and the boss tears @ss past my window in it all the time ;)

I even have a guy with a drag car turning over 1800 hp. Air suspension can actually a very useful tool in tuning a cars suspension.

yeah i undertstand all that, but I have the cool-ride system not the shockwave system in my 93 GT. I do not have the air struts, not do I have the rear trailing arms from you guys. i think its just strictly airbags and switches at the moment.

I think that if you upgrade to some quality struts and shocks it will handle great. We use Bilstein struts, they make nice stuff.
