Hi Guys,
I just joined and have read through the forums re 65 Lincoln. I have looked at the photo' s of the rear kit and was wondering can we get the bum down any further by removing another leaf or using bigger blocks?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Any lower than this will require cutting of the trans tunnel under the rear seat.

Yea, I think that pinon snubber mount hits the tunnel.

Guys,
I have decided to cut the tunnel to fit so I can get right down. Providing I cut what needs to be done how much lower will that shock go in inches?
If there is no more room on that shock can I order a different set to give me the extra travel.
The reason I am persisting is I want mine to look like this

I am ordering the gear through Glen at Airide, so I will pass on the changes to him.
Cheers,

If you want to go that low I would recommend ditching the leafs completely and going to a 4 link. We offer some universal weld in 4 links that will work. I think that Mobsteel also offers a 4 link for that car.

Hey guys,
what size are the new rims on the car that you guys developed the system on?

The rims are 20" X 8.5" with 5 1/4" backspacing; the tires are 255/35/20' s all the way ' round.
