55 chevy AirBar help

I have a 55 chevy with the one piece frame and i just recieved my AirBAr kit and the crossmember is 1/2 inch short i would like to know the correct width of the crossmember for the one piece frame. I'm trying to find out if its the wrong crossmember or my frame is bent.

The one piece frame cm is 33 11/16". The two piece is 35 1/8". I have seen variances of 1/2" plus on those frame rails. Some are tight and some are loose, GM's tolerances were pretty big back then.
