I just read the install over on webrodders site and I sure like the looks of this. A couple of questions, Are the front shockwaves big enough for a big block, and how does the rear stuff work with a resonably high HP big block (ZZ502) with a manual?
Thanks

Yes the Shockwaves will handle a Big Block no problem. The rear system won't have any problem as well. I would recommend upgrading the standard steel body shocks to the billet aluminum adjustable shocks tho. Also if you car only has one upper bar it wouldn't be a bad idea to add the 2nd upper bar.
If performance is really your game you could upgrade the front and rear shocks to the double adjustable units. They will allow you to control the compression and rebound individually.

Oh and our sway bars are a must too. Keep in mind that your oem bar will not work with the front StrongArms.

Darren,
Thanks for the info, do you offer a rear sway bar? My car is a factory big block, so has 4 trailing arms. As far as I can tell, all big block and wagons in 65 had 12 bolts, and all the 12 bolts had 4 trailing arms. GM fixed it in 66, and they all have 4 after that.

I have heard many different stories about the extra upper bar.....'
Yes we do offer a rear bar as well. Here is a list of all the parts that we offer for that car.

So what about 66's? We did a 66 with a 10 bolt and it had only 1 upper bar. I do know that in 67 they changed the length of the upper arms.

Every 66 I have looked at had the 2 upper bars. I am betting that early 66 they had some left over 65 stuff and used it up before they went to the 4 bars.
Just a guess
