hey there...i've been interested in what i'm reading and so has my dad. i was just wondering what parts and prices i'd be looking at for a couple cars.

first off i got a 97 camaro ss convertible that i'm thinking about air ridin. i'm not looking for the worlds quickest lift and drop, but something i can set on the ground at a car show and rides smoothly but can still handle the torque when i hammer it. i also want to add that i just bought brand new top of the line kyb shocks and struts about 2000 miles ago if that makes a difference, haha

second vehicle is a 2002 s-10 that is my dad's. he was looking at the shockwave and is considering that but wants to keep his options open. he wants nothing to do with cutting into the bed or the fender wells but wants to be able to drop it and raise it at will.

parts and prices for these 2 cars would be a great help so we know what we're lookin at. thanks!

Camaro,
For the front we have a Shockwave kit. part # AST1015 $995/pair
On the back we use a CoolRide kit. part # ARR22400 $349
Both kits are bolt on. The front Shockwaves have a 16 position billet shock inside the airsprings, so you won't need the KYB's. But the kit does not include any shocks, so you can still use your KYB's. A friend of mine had a 96 SS that we designed the kit on. He had Eibach's on it before. The ride quality is 1000 times better and it handles a little better too!

Here is a nice install article we did on my buddies car....

For the S-10 I would go with the Shockwaves up front. They will work with the factory arms, we have tubular arms too. In the back I would look at using the AirBar system.

I would probably go for the ARC4000e2 or the ARC4000L. The AirPod are really nice too, if you have the room. Do you have T tops?

no sir...the camaro is a convertible. and my dad wants to know what kind of ride difference would it be between the factory arms compared to your tubular arms?

The ride quality probably isn't much different. The main advantage with the tubular arms is geometry. We correct the ball joint angle (to avoid premature wear) and correct the camber.
