Air Struts For Honda Accord

I have noticed that the air struts for Honda Accords only go back to 1994. I have a 1991 Accord. I have noticed that regular struts are the same for the 94 and 91. I have looked at both cars and they appearto look the same. Anybody know if I can put the 94 struts on a 91 without any major modification? Thanks

The Monroe catalog show different part #' s for those two years. It is possible that they will fit, but I don' t know for sure.

For a 91 accord anything from 90 to 93 will work. You might be able to drill your top holes to make it work. I don' t know what the difference is. Your best bet would be to go to a junk yard and buy one strut from a 94 accord and figure out how you can make it fit your 91. After that then you can mount the air struts.
