Looks like i made my decision and I'm gonna go the air suspension route for my 2007 fx2. I've been looking into the airbar 4link kit for the rear
but I'm not sure if its gonna fit. I've seen this setup on 2006's but still am not sure for the 2007. Everyone is closed today so i'de thought i ask. Also what part number shockwaves for the front and how do you feel about the air pod? will the single compressor work just fine or should i get the 5gal with 2 compressors. Basically I have an idea of what i need but i'm not sure of all the part numbers i will need for the full complete system. Is this system fast? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot say if the AirBar will fit on an 07 or not, we'll have to wait for one of the sales guys to answer that.

However, I can comment on the compressor system. The AirPod is not the best choice for trucks as the RideProE2/LevelPro ECU is mounted inside the AirPod. As most truck owners want to mount the control system outside (in the bed, under the vehicle, etc.) this places the electronics in a harsh environment. The ECU must be mounted inside as it is not waterproof.

If you plan on placing the compressor system outside the cab I'd use a standard system and mount the compressor(s), tank(s), valves, etc. under the bed and put the electronics inside the cab.

I'd use a ARC4100 (e2 or LevelPro). The 5 gallon tank and two compressors is nice as you always have enough air available. It has 1/4-inch valves which provide a controlled inflate/deflate. If you want something faster use a kit with the Big Red valves. They have 3/8-inch valves and lines. It won't hop, or do anything crazy, but it will be quicker than the 1/4-inch system.

I wanted to read them all so i can do the install fairly quickly and i'll know what i'll be doing. do i have to change my exhaust. i have the roush dual rear exit? will i have to get a before the rear axle system?

Here's the instruction manuals we currently have online (we are working on making this a complete list, but with the new site it's taking a little time):

You'll probably have to modify the tail pipes.

The truck should be the same, I was going to post a new thread, but I'll post here:

I'm considering a similar setup on an 06' F-150.

Am I correct in the understanding that I would need the Airbar for the rear, shockwave(s) for the front, and of course the air setup. If I buy a kit like the ARC4800L, does that have everything I need to complete the whole install and have a working product when I'm done? (as far as the air system goes)

As far as installation, its all bolt on with maybe some slight modification right?

I want to be able to run 22's eventually with this setup. From what I've found searching the forum, this seems possible, but I wanted to find out 100% with this setup.

Is there a cheaper air control setup that will accomplish similar results? I like the preset feature so that when i start the truck it adjusts to a specifc ride height automatically.

Thanks for the help.

Hey justin, as for the installation of the airbar i believe you have to drill a few new holes but looks pretty simple and the shockwaves just bolt right in. for the air system that is all need. i was going to purchase the airpod but decided not to because i will be installing it in the bed and thats not the ideal place for the ecm, i ended up getting the arc4700e2, should be here soon. Darren and Britt are really helpful and will also chime in on this thread once again. I would stick with Air Ride Technologies for all there parts because the quality of there products out do the rest.

I have this setup on my 06 f150 and i would have to say i would go 3/8 lines off the bat. I had 1/4 inch lines and they would just not cut it with this heavy of a truck. Now I'm stuck having to sell my airpod I paid alot for

overall, I am very happy with the shockwaves and airbar setup.
