Had a customer (not a car guy) bring back his truck complaining that the display had gone dead on his control panel. I went outside and looked at it and everything still functioned properly so I assumed power and ground were there. When we pulled the truck in out of the sun I could see four very faint hash marks on the display.
Turns out, that in the owner's attempt to "program" his ridepro (which I had already done) he had set the display to bar graph only and the intensity all the way to it lightest setting. There is not a level pro on this truck so the bar graph just read one mark and was not visible in the sun at all.
After resetting the display properly all was well. Always blame the parts last and never take anyones word for it. Just thought I would pass this along, might save someone a headache.;)
