i bought this 4 wheel drive escalade with air ride and it needs some help. i plan on removing the front axle n transfer case and making it two wheel drive, but i'm not sure wats all involved. i want to remove the leafs for a 4 link but im not sure what parts to use. The rear end is sloppy and i want it to be mint. please help..

it's an escalade - 4 door. i was checking out the universal parallel 4 link?? possible?

We have a bolt on 4 link designed to fit the 4 door Tahoe/Yukon. Should fit your truck too. But it's not designed to lay frame, only until the axle hits the frame, about 7-8". If you want to lay frame, use the universal weld on parallel 4 link.

Actually D, I am fairly confident the frame rails from the 4 wd to 2 wd of that vintage are completely different. I would use a weld on parallel with the PAR1000 short bars and a set of the 9100 springs. If you clip the front with a 2wd clip then you can just use our standard front kit with tubular upper and lowers with a set of drop spindles. Rob over at No Limit has done this to a bunch of the 4wd 2 doors.

will the 4 link and the panhard bar together keep the rear end pretty solid? my truck eats rear u joints as well. all the advice is greatly appreciated.

It's is the best method for locating the axle.
