I need to shorten the wire harnesses for my new Ride Pro E stuff....A LOT! I'm guessing that the BEST way is to cut them to length and re-use the plugs and replace the brass inside??? What types of ends are used so I can get replacements.....OR do you have a better suggestion for shortening them other than crimp-on splices??? The only exception is the harness that goes from the computer part to the control panel, which needs to be LENGTHENED about 18". I see you have a 6' extension available for this....anything shorter??

ECU to Display harness:
We offer a 6 foot extension. However, we also have a shorter version for use in the AirPod but it's only 16-inches.
All other harnesses terminated at the ECU:
These harnesses use an AMP DUAC connector and terminal.
These items can be purchesed from many online sites such as:
www.newark.com
www.mouser.com
www.digikey.com
Connector Part Numbers:
2-pin: relay connectors 106527-2
4-pin: level sensors and tank pressure sensor 106527-4
6-pin: air pressure sensors and power 106527-6
8-pin: valve harness 106527-8
Terminal Part Number:
All terminals on the ECU side are the same: 106529-2
You may also require the following items:
crimper: purchase from www.waytekwire.com Part# 419
terminal extraction tool: purchase from www.waytekwire.com Part# 422
It's easiest just to cut the harnesses to the desired length, crimp on new terminals and use new connectors as the connectors only cost $0.50-0.60/each.
