i have the 4 way bigred air valves, i believe there is something wrong with one of my sending units. every morning i get ready to drive, my digital readout says my air pressure is much higher than what i left it at the previous evening. if i make adjustments to it, then drive the readout will eventually reflect somewhat the correct pressure "the pressure would drop" and sometimes the opposite happens, if i start out with the correct pressure then drive, i will eventually have to add more pressure than what i started with. all this is happen with the same sending unit. How do i obtain replacement sending units?

What control sytem do you have?

Here's an easy way to determine if the problem is mechanical or electrical:
When you park the vehicle at night take a quick measurement at the body (so if it's the Left Front you are having issues with measure from the ground to the fender lip) and write the # down. The next morning measure the same location and compare the numbers.

If the vehicle did not physically move the sensor has probably failed, and there is no need to change your air pressures to drive the vehicle. (You could also swap the wire harness on two sensors and see if the faulty reading follows the sensor or the wire.)

If the height of the vehicle has changed you have a mechanical problem which is most likely debris in the valve seat. This can be fixed by clearing the valve by pressing inflate then deflate then inflate then deflate multiple times. If this does not dislodge the debris the valves will have to be disassembled and cleaned.

If it is the sensor, we'll figure out which sensor you have and quote a replacement. You can get them directly from us, but at this time I'm not sure which unit you need.

Does the control panel look like the attached image? (this is a RideProE1)

my control panel doesn't look like that, my control panel is like the panel displayed for the arc4000 type but i have a digital read-out. i don't think that height of the vehicles changes i think that the sending unit is faulty. when i drive the readout can change as much 20# but the vehicle maintains the same height.

heyt britt

can someone email a wiring diagram for the 4 way arc4000dig system?
i'm 100% sure the sending units are fualty but i would like to to make sure everything is str8 before order the sending units.

Drop me an e-mail: britt@ridetech.com and I'll send over a couple of diagrams.

The part number is " DIG1051" and they go for $25.00 ea. The first thing I would do is pull the sender out, clean up the threads where it screws into the bulkhead fiting or solenoid block and the threads for the electrical connection. Then i would apply teflon to the threads again, re-install and make you electrical conection. If the sender is still reading weird then you need a new one.

Those sensors read in OHM's and they are very finicky about bad grounds or bad connections. Clean those up and you might not have to replace it.:D

are the sending units grounded through the body of the sending units themselves?

yes, the sensors ground through the sensor body.
