newbie needs help with ark 2005

I installed the air over leaf system in a '37 Chevy sedan, with a Ford 9" rearend. The install went fairly easy. The only problem i am having is the bags are not rolling onto themselves. They are folding in the middle and staying that way. I have pressured them up to 70 lbs. and haven't had any luck. They still are folded in the middle. There are 6" between the top of the bag and the bottom. I have not removed any leafs.Do these bags roll down on themselves or am i under the wrong impression? What am i missing?

It should roll down over itself. Are you upper and lower brackets aligned properly? Front to back and side to side, they must also be parallel to each other.

We typically remove a couple leafs to help drop the car a bit more and soften the ride.
