View Full Version : ART digi gauges
Ive notice that the digi gauges model Con5000 and DIG4000 look the same, what is the difference? Does the CON5000 work only if you have ART valves and the DIG4000 if you have another brand valve? Thanks for any info

They are the same part, but the CON5000 includes sending units and switches etc.
The DIG4000 is the gauge itself.

Darren,
Do have any techincal information about your sending units for the digital gauges? How accurate are they? Can they be re-calibrated if necessary?
Thanks,
Jason
if i got the dig4000, I still would need to get sending units anyways? Could you expain to me what a sending unit actualy does. thank you.

The sending unit converts an air pressure to an electric signal. You will mount it close to valves and from there on up will be all electrical. They seem to be very accurate and reliable, I don' t recall ever having one go bad. I think they are accurate within 2%.

darren, in the catalog the dig 4000 shows as being a kit???
I have a 4 way system, which unit should I get, the DIG4000 or the CON5000? The DIG4000 is like 249$ while the CON5000 is 349$. I am trying to save as much money as possible.

so is the pic in the catalog wrong? it shows the dig4000 kit for a 99-02 gm truck or a dig 4000kit for a 00-01 mustang with the switches....

The catalog is just trying to show the different panels we offer. The catalog is a little misleading on what comes with each part #.
so which one do I need to get for my 4 way system? DIG4000 with senders? thats 249$
