I’m in the process of installing a rear AirBar system under my 64 Nova and have a few questions.
The AirBar instructions say to remove the pinion snubber as the SKW7000 ShockWaves have an internal stop and the car will rest on those when fully deflated. My Nova and I’ll assume that all 64 Nova’s have two additional snubbers installed over the axle tubes, one per side. These two additional snubbers protrude into the wheel well and could interfere with a larger than stock tire. My question is if the ShockWaves have a stop built into them to allow the car to rest on them when fully deflated would it be possible to remove the redundant snubbers?
Thanks,
RGJ
