I have a 37 Ford street rod with an ARC4000 system. Occasionally it will not exhaust the air in the left rear bag. It seemed like if I played with the switch it would eventually work. Recently, it did it again. This time I swapped the switch with another one and it didn't solve the problem. In fooling around with the switch, I now have the car at its maximum height on that location. Since the problem is obviously not the switch, I can only imagine it's the valve block. Is there a simple way I can exhaust the air on the problem location? I plan to call Air Ride Tech. tomorrow but in the meanwhile, has anyone else experienced a problem like this? Is it possible to buy the valve blocks or solenoids independently?

Possible causes of this issue include:
1-switch not supplying power to the valve (or low voltage)
2-the valve is sticking
How to test:
1-start the vehicle and try the valves. If the problem is due to low voltage the problem will not arise when the vehicle is running and the charging system is working properly.
If the problem persists with the engine running:
-unplug the valves (at the connector closest to the valves)
-use a jumper wire connected to +12V and touch the terminal of the offending valve
-If the valve actuates it's probably a bad switch
2-If the valve does not open when direct +12V is applied the valve may be sticking.
-The valve can be disassembled and inspected.
-look for corrosion of the plunger and/or deformation of the valve seal
-If there is corrosion clean the plunger, reassemble, and retest
-if the valve seal has a "nipple" pressed into it the seal must be replaced (the seal should be flat)

Could also be a bad connection at the molded connector, where the switch plugs into the harness.
