dumb question re. airsleeves

I got a set of your 9000 series sleeves, but cannot get the bracket on them bc they are compressed in, as I am assuming they were shipped. Do i need to put air in them to get them expanded for the first time? I have tried and tried to pull on the lower plate to get it to extend and it wont...sorry for the dumb ?..

you just have to pull it out. if you cant get it by hand, just screw a bolt into the bottom plate and use that to pull it out. dont put air into it if it is not installed and restricted because you can blow the crimp ring and destroy the bag. you just have to pull hard. tom

make sure the port doesnt have the sticker still covering it on the top...acts as a suction.
