Hi guys, i´m new to this forum.

I live in Germany/Bavaria,37 years old and recently bought a 1967 El Camino.
The car was lowered with cut coils in the front, not drivable at all:(.
Just a small turn and tires scraped in the wheel house.

I got those springs heated up and lengthened by a professional, to at least get the car on the road for summer.

I have installed 17x8 with 235/45/17 on front and 255/45/17 on the rear.
To get good looks and better handling, i´m thinking about air ride for this car.

Can anybody give me some help please, what to use and how much drop will be possible without loosing to much on performance.

Car is not intended to be a hauler, just like El Caminos looks and occasionally
put some light goods in the box...

Thank you for response

We have a lot of different options for that car. Do you want to use the factory arms or use our tubular StrongArms?

Hi Darren,

i went through your products and saw a few different options. Can these Shock Waves be mounted with the original control arms, or do you recommend the strong arms?

Car is a daily driver for summer and the suspension should give a tight feeling, at the moment it seems to be all quit soft and shacking, even though i replaced all the ball joints.
And the previous owner installed "Superiour Spindels", i guess these a the 2" lowered ones?

Thanks again for any help, i appreciate this.

The shockwaves fit much better with our control arms, we had to move the lower mount around a bit. So I highly recommend using our lower arms.

The spindles will work on the front, just make sure that you tell us that when ordering, so we can send the proper length shockwaves.

To get this thing to handle really well, (in addition to the air ride) I would also look at using our sway bars. They will improve the handling quite a bit as well.
