Hi all! I've got a 1962 Ford Galaxie wagon that I'd like to run air suspension on. The ShockWave setup for the front and AirBar Shockwave kit for the rear looks easy enough to install and pretty straightforward. I have a few questions though:
1. Is there possibly any info out there about what the recommended ride height, full inflated height and deflated height would be with this kit?
2. The car is a tank -- 4200lbs dry, but closer to 5-6000 when fully loaded with people and gear on trips. Are the ShockWaves and this kit up for handling this much weight, or will I be having to run questionably high pressure?
Thanks!

We designed this kit on a sedan, which only took 70 psi at ride height on the rear. You can safely run them at 140psi, (only 150 in the tank) if needed. So I don't think that he weight will be an issue. I did have a customer install this AirBar on a wagon a couple years ago. He said that the upper shockwave mount hit the corner of the trunk pan. So you may have to modify that.
Ride height is about 2" lower than factory, fully deflated will be about 3" lower than ride height. Here is deflated, ride height and inflated images of the car we designed it on.

Thanks for the reply Darren, that is exactly what I needed. I can't seem to get those full size pictures to load, any idea why? What size tires were on this car?

Not sure why the images don't load for you, they work fine for me. I'm not sure what size wheels are on that car, looks like about 18's to me.

Images load fine now. Thanks for the info, looks like this kit will work great.

You should see a large image in the text, then thumbnails at the bottom as well. If you click on the thumbnail a large image should pop up. Your pop up blocker may be catching it as well.

Hi Darren, how's it going?
Still plugging away on the Tbird, just a quick question re this Galaxie. What pressure does it run the front Shockwaves at? Haven't driven my T-bird with the Shockwaves in it yet, as the Galaxie is similar size etc it wold give me a good starting point.
Thanks
Alistair

The install guides say 90psi on the front and 70psi in the rear I believe.

Another quick question Darren: I have an aftermarket rear anti-sway bar for this car. Does the triangulated 4 link negate the need for it, or would the rear setup be better with/without it?

It the rear bar will fit, I would keep it. It's not necessary though.
