hey darren on my 52 chevy pick up should i box the frame rails out back before i weld the tri link brackets to my older camaro rear/stock frame...also what is the best way of assuming pinion angle after setting the rear initially parralell with the frame

Usually we put the axle on jack stands and position it at ride height. Then set pinion angle and tack weld the axle to the stands to keep them from moving.

You will want to box the frame first. The angle of the upper bars is already set with the cut on the frame bracket, so you will need to hold that up to the frame to see where it will weld to the axle. And being a Camaro rear end you will NOT be able to center section, it' s cast.

Because of that you will either have to get a 9" Ford or use the Parallel 4 link. Also there is one other option, we have a tri link kit for the 47-54 Chevy truck. It is for use with the 8.8 axle (Mustang) which already has the 4 link mount on top of the center section. It comes with the boxing plates and special upper bars. That kit retails for $875.00.
