It's been a while since I've posted but I have some specific questions concerning research and development. I've gone back to college at East Carolina University where we are attempting to develop a curriculum for automotive engineering. As a part of the program's development, we will be teaming up with other Universities, the State of North Carolina, and some major auto manufacturers to solve issues facing cars of today.

One of the areas brought to our attention was using adjustable suspensions to increase fuel mileage. I immediately thought of AirRide and have disscussed with the advising professor the technology that you have brought to the table. How should I get in touch with you to get further information from you and share the information that we are given?

Well, reading through one of our catalogs would be a good start. We also have a FAQ section on this site. If you have any specific questions you could ask them here, or give us a call. My direct # is 812-481-4706.

Lotus will be the main manufacturer that we will be working with. I know they use Chapman Struts. I will check the catalog for a shockwave that is similar. The official project start date isn't for a while but I would like to get a presentation together for my professor and see where it goes from there.

Most of the research will be done in partnership with the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR). They broke ground recently and expect to have phase one of the research facility, including the first 2.1 miles of the handling course, opporational by this time next year.
