Brian, you just described our S-10 Air Bar system. It is a completely bolt 4 link that will put your ground effects about an inch off the ground, depending on wheel size. You will keep the spindles up front and then use either our Shockwave or the CoolRide kit.
There is a pic of a truck in the online Catalog under S-10 AirBar. Also there are a couple truck in the customer car section.

What would you suggest ? Shockwave or Coolride ? What are the differences? Which is easier to install ?

Thanks

They are both pretty easy to install. The Shockwave gives a little cleaner look and uses an adjustable QA1 shocks inside the bag which can help get the perfect ride. But on the other hand the CoolRide will give you a little more lift and will save you a couple bucks. It' s up in the up air, either setup would work great.

How much welding is involved with the cool ride set up ?
what if i take stock spindles back on ?

thanks

Whats the range of motion with these set ups ? how far up and down ? what kinda of compressor system would i need ? Can i go front to back and side to side ? Ive also seen some trucks use a playstation controller type thing to control theirs.. what are they about ?

thanks

For your aplication I would opt for the cool ride kit with tubular lower control arms. That kit runs 675.00 and it is completely bolt on with the exception of trimming the coil spring pocket.;)

We have a few different compressor kits that will work depending on how fast you want to go. With the CoolRide kit you will get about 6" of travel front and rear. Also leave the drop spindles on.
