i have shockwaves on my 01 tahoe they are the single adjustable knob type. I usually ride them at 100-110 psi, thats when my tires are nice n flat to the road.....any less than that ..im riskin inner tire wear.....and for some reason.....this causes the Sway Bar to rub on the Tie-rods.......specially in turns......well ultimately they rubbed enough to the point where the nuts on the tie-rods are knocked out of place......completely messin up the alignment......
i tried adjustin the endlinks on the sway bar...but i can only go far up enough...due to them hittin on the bottom of the shockwave.......
the ride quality isnt very good anymore....prolly from all the Potholes i didnt successfully avoid....
..also my passenger side shockwave leaks air.....i know its not the fittings, i had the same problem with another air management set up i had.....it maybe takes about 30 min for the bag to start goin low.......
...also...the shockwave.....i hit a deep pothole and broke the bolt holdin the top part of the shockwave in place.....well when i had it repaired........The repair shop didnt put the bolt on right.......so the shockwave Bag ended up rubbin on the upper control arm....thus causin it to wear out........
id like to have them repaired......im sure the shocks in these things are damaged

it definitely sounds like you have some issues that need sorted out.... First thing is first. You need to get the Shockwaves repaired. If you have bottomed them out hard enough to break a mount off of them then it is very likely the valving in the bottom of the shock is shot. That is where you deminished ride quality is coming from. Second, When you get them back and get them installed... you need to get the truck realigned for the ride height you want to drive it at. After that you look to see if you still have a sway bar/ tie rod end issue and correct it. To get those rebuilt just give us a call and give us your information and we will get you a return RMA #. :D

The sway bar end link must be shortened by two inches. Has that been done.
Give us a call a call and we can issue you a return number to send them back under.

Those would have worked also but you needed to shorten them :)

I did this on mine, 03 silverado, shockwaves, moog end link kit. shortened the sleeves by two inches and used 7 inch bolts. they still contact the tie-rod. What am i doing wrong here?:(

Oh... Silverado. thought you had a Tahoe.

What spindles do you have? Sometimes drop spindles will change the height of the steering arm.

I bought the truck this way. The sway bar was off, it rubbed a hole in the bag. How can I tell if the spindles are stock?

Looks like you just need to lengthen the spacer a bit. Maybe just a few washers.
