Hi guys, haven't posted in a while. I've finished installing my kit and unfortunately haven't really gotten to enjoy it yet. I went ahead and sent the car in to get a 500HP 454CID in to replace my tired 350.

My question is (and lucky for me you guys have a 66 Chevelle): What size/style headers would you guys recommend I go with to get proper clearance of the A arms? I remember my old headers had to be "massaged" with a crow bar to make sure I had clearance for my Strong Arms!

Thanks guys!

Well, our 66 has a small block with Hooker's. My 70 has a BB with Hedman's.

Your 66 smokes em like that on a small block? Nice!

Is the engine bay same size on your 70 as my 66? What size headers are you running?

thanks!

The cars use the same control arms, but some cars need more shims than others. My headers were on the car when I bought it, so I'm not sure what size and model they are. Here is an image though.
