I am building a 68 Chevelle with a 396, just curious what would be the best kit and most cost effective? Do the front bags require frame trimming? My car is just finished sandblasting and priming and would like to know if I have to trim before I get the frame painted.

This car is just for cruising, no racing etc.

The most cost effective would be the CoolRide kit. The air spring bolts in place of the coil spring and the kit comes with new shocks and mounts to relocate the shocks. Shock brackets are weld on.

I personally prefer to Shockwave setup to avoid relocating the shocks.

Both kits will require you to trim the outside of the coil spring pocket.

That price on the Shockwaves w/ lower arms is incorrect. Should be $1200 with the Black series shockwaves.
