I am interested in black skw7000 would this be a good choice for show car slash weekend cruiser car. are they rebuildable. thanks for any info

The Black Series is an entry level, steel bodied shock absorber. The unit is non-rebuildable.

However, these shocks are manufactured by a major OEM shock supplier and will provide many, many miles of reliable service. If you were to go to your local dealership and pick up a set of replacement shocks for a vehicle built in the last 20 years, they may very well have been built on the exact same line our Black Series shocks are built on.

These shocks would be a good choice for your application. The only major downside is the lack of adjustability. The Black Series has a set valving and cannot be changed. The Master Series is a rebuildable aluminum shock that has variable damping via adjustment knobs.
