Mustang Air Strut problem.

I bought a set of new airstuts from a friend of mine (he never used them), he said they were for a fox but I think the mounting plates are the wrong ones for the car. I am concerned that they are the mounting plates for the 94-04 not the 79-93 as the holes are no where close to lining up on my strut towers.

Can someone please post a pic of both the 79-93 plates and the 94-04 plates so I can verify what I have.

Yes the upper plates are differnt.

I know they are different. I was hoping for some pics to verify which ones I actually had.

It doesn't matter though at this point, I just ordered the plates as I couldn't keep waiting any longer, so hopefully when they get here they are the right ones, lol. I'm sure they will be though.
