fall speeds of strutbags vs. cylinders

right now i am in the process of trading out my cylinders for strutbags on my eclipse. i want the fall speeds to be much slower than they were with the cylinders. by simply having bags instead of cylinders slow everything down? if not, what is the best option to slow it down?

Yes, with a given air valve setup the dampening of the the strut will slow the drop.
