I began the install of the front air struts. My question is, is the air strut designed (engineered) for it not to rub on anything while it' s installed? It fits really tight up in there and I' m just kind of worried it may rub.

I had a 125 PSI pressure switch on my setup however I found out it didn' t lift the front of the car (front heavy). I went ahead and installed 180 PSI pressure switch and it lifted the front of the car with no sweat.
But now my problem is I think the bag is going to rub on the rear (frame metal) because I tried passing a piece of cardboard thru it to see if goes in and it doesn' t. I' ll probably have to find out a way to grind off where it rubs.

I noticed there' s an offset on the bottom of the air struts that bolts on to the stock wishbone bracket. So I was able to get the strut away from the rear a little more, now I think there' s enough clearance for it. Hopefully this should be okay and now I have both installed. Noticed you need more air pressure inside the bags, around 120PSI when at driving mode.

Make sure you have the car aligned. Sorry I didn' t get a chance to reply. Do you have everything figured out?

My question to you Darren is: Are these air struts designed (built) to just bolt on and not have to do any cutting or grinding?

Yes, they should just bolt in. But anytime you do an install you must check to make sure nothing can touch the bag. Did you have a problem?
