Hello,

Ill be shipping my 72 chevelle to Hawaii from Cali. Question is, how should I prepare the suspension for the 2-4 week trip? ive been trying to find out if Matson will secure it to the container with some kind of rigging or just have the P. brake on. this will determine how i need to set the module. (if it airs out while its strapped down, it will become loose)

I want to know, depending on how its secured, if i should:

1. leave it at ride height during the long trip (disable it from airing out when ignition turned off).
2. leave the auto presets on (ride height/air'd out depending on Ign.)

The best scenario would be to disable any presets, leave it at ride height and it stays like that for a few weeks. Will the air stay in for this long?

It has RidePro e3 with shockwave masters, front and back, auto leveling with internal sensors, 5gal AirPod.

You should ship it just like any other car. . .at ride height.

You will need to make sure there are no leaks. If it leaks it could come loose.
If the install was good, there will be no issues with leaks. We can leave a car sit for months and it wont' deflate.

You'll want to turn off the "Auto Level on Start" feature in the e3 so it doesn't move when they turn the ignition on.

The e3 will not deflate when the ignition is turned off. . .someone has to push a preset button.

All right, sounds good to me. I should be headed state side in a couple weeks and finally get to test out the new suspension, its been a long 4 months and getting tired of looking at pictures of the car. really excited

Thanks for the quick reply.
