what if i hook this tank to this thing and then hook a thingy up the the thing.....

ok.. so i have the ARC4000 kit. and i want to buy an aditiaonla 7 gal tank. now... i dont want another compressor. and am willing to fill it up at my house when i get home every time. i will have the compressor and 2gal tank that the ARC4000 kit comes with. but can i take my 7 gal tank. and hook both tanks up to the ARC4000 kit. and just have the 2 gal. hooked up to the compressor...

any one get this?? darren please respond! :D

I think you could if you installed check valves between each tank and a T that goes to the solenoid block.

You' d have:

(schrader valve)---(7 gal)---(check valve)---|
|---(solenoids)---(bags)
(compressor)-------(2 gal)---(check valve)---|


Would it be worth the hassle and inconvience? Probably not

then i would just fill the 7 gallon up every time i got home.

You need to have the check valve between the 7 gallon tank and the solenoid block or else the compressor will try to fill up the 7 gallon tank in addition to the 2 gallon tank. The check valve will only allow air to flow out of the 7 gallon tank and prevent it from flowing in.

A check valve shouldn' t be too expensive.

A schrader valve is the type of valve that' s used on a car tire' s valve stem. Wherever you can pump up a car tire you' d be able to refill the tank.

oh ok.. well i think it has one on it.. dont most tanks come with them??? how much you think for the check valve.. around what price??? $5???
