Has anyone bagged an 81-88 Monte Carlo SS yet? If so I would like to know about how long it took and if it were hard..obviously it required some skill, but im refering to easy of installtion of the bags. How did you wire the compressor, where were the gauges mounted...just little semi-important details. If you happen to have pictures as well, that would be simply amazing. Thanks in advance....oh by the way has anyone seen the pictures of the shockwaves that will fit the monte/cutlass/grand prix?

The " G" bodies actually have the same front suspension as the S-10. So, not only could you use the Shockwave, but the control arms should work as well.
I have never actually done it on a Monte, but I know what it takes. If you use the shockwave up front it will bolt-in but you will have to trim the outside of the coilspring pocket for bag clearance. The rear is really easy, just remove the coil and the bag and brackets slide right in.
On the electrical we have a wiring harness with weather pack connectors, all you have to do is supply a key hot power to the harness. The only other wiring is routing a compressor wire from the battery to the pump.
I' m not sure of the best place to mount the gauges. Anyone else have any input?
