differences in compressors and tanks

I have a 64 impala and whant to know the difference in compressors, fitting size, and tanks, etc. I am looking for something that is fairly quick but still affordable.

A larger tank will give you more air to play with without waiting for the compressor to refill the tank. Depending on size and number of tanks will determine how many and how big you compressors are. On your Impala you will need at least 3 gal. tank.
Since you want something quick I would use the Big Red valves. The ARC4700 kit includes one 5 gal. tank, one Viair 400c compressor, and 3/8 lines. This setup will give you a rise time under 2 seconds. If you think you might want to run it up and down alot I would upgrade to the ARC4800. It features dual compressor and dual tanks along with 1/2 airlines.
