Doing some research think it was in your reviews of systems built, and commentary was something like-- bags work equally in jounce AND rebound, so if one uses stock shocks, maybe 75/25 ratios, their ride will not be improved, even degraded???? Meaning if yoiu add just bags to replace front coil springs your handling will be poor until you go to 50/50 shox???
and is this the reason for making so many kits now with the integral bag/shock so you can have some control over this, and the owner can then tune his susp?
(Thinking of my PT and adding rear bags only, the implication is the shocks will be soso if they are left stock?)
TIA

It all depends on the type of suspension, weight of vehicle, and the characteristics fo the air spring. Some springs have a more progressive spring rate an therefore need more on the rebound. All of those things are considered while chosing a shock for one of our kits. New shocks will come with the kit for the rear of the PT Cruiser. And if you want you can upgrade to QA1 adjustable shocks. The front kit is an AirStrut and comes with the QA1 adjustable struts.
