Will it affect overall system performance if the braided line from the compressor does not connect directly to the tank?

What I' m wondering is if the Air Compressor can be mounted away from the compressor, or if they need to be together.

Also, does the position of the valves improve performance? Does having the valves closer to the airbags affect the speed at which the car raises and lowers (referring to the BIG RED valves)? Or does having a seperate feed to each valve improve performance?

Thanks!

You can mount the compressor away from the tank. I, for example, have my compressor mounted on one side of my car and the tank on the other, with probably 15-20 feet of line between them. Works fine.

Mounting the valves closer to the bags will slightly help speed up the rise/drop time, although it isn' t really necessary. Mounting them in a block near your tank will help keep things a bit more organized and easier to configure.

Just make sure you keep that braided line on the pump, it gets really hot. It also has the check valve in it.
