Alright boys I have a question for you. As I was looking in the articel in the Sport Truck it show sthe " demo frame" with the S-10 Cool ride kit in the front laying the frame on the ground. Seeing this made me want to buy the kit the next day but as I read through the article and get to the end where there was a pic of an s-10 with supposedly the same kit as is on the demo frame. But I thought that it was supposed to lay the frame on the ground?! It looks as if it is a bit of a fib because as you can tell by the pic it is definitely not on the ground in the front actually by my standards pretty far from it. Now did you not use a spindle combination in the front, are the fenderwelss in the way? I would really like to know since I would really love to purchase one of these kits from you but if it is not going to go as low or lower for that matter on my truck I really don' t see the point in it. Thanks guys.

What month is that?
Is it possible at ride height?
Either way, I assure you it will lay frame in the back with 20' s and the some. In the front it will lay out with 18' s and some 20' s with a few mods.

It is the newest issue with Bpyd Coddington Jr. New 2003 Silverado on the from of it. If you look at the S-10 in there there is no way that the front is touching the ground at all. In the back I am not worried about I built my own fouor link for that but I wanted to upgrade my front for various reasons. But I wanted to make sure that it is going to sit eventually lower than what I have now and gain alot of ride quality back. Have you seen this done is there somone that has pics of this showing that it actually lays down the frant frame rails on the ground. Thanks

Any pics you guys of this done?
Thanks

Lets face it...... in the front of any S-10 that is running your average 26" + tall tire, there are provisions that have to be made in order to clear the tires. We do not claim that our kit gets around these mods that were previously needed. Is what our control arm kit does do is correct some of the geometry that gets out of whack on every S-10 when you hammer em. Our upper control arms correct the ball joint angle and also help with the camber. Our lower control arms are built with a hip in them to aid in clearing the frame. With Factory control arms or and other aftermarket control arms, you have to notch the frame for the lower control arms. You still need to notch for your tie rod ends or use a bump steer extension from Baer Racing. You will still need to modify your inner fender wells in order to clear the tires.

Hey there Tony as always thanks for the good info. I know that I have to cut out the fenderwells those are gone. the inner support bracing in the fender is gone. I have it bagged in the front with various components but it really doesn' t ride all that great. I wanted to go with your setup cause I know that it rides wodnerfull and if I can get both ride back and the ability to lay on the ground I would love it. Mine is a 1993 sonoma by the way. Thanks as always for your incredible work. Do you guys need any help down there. I would love to work for you;). Thanks again for the info on the control arms though Tony I just needs to find out if the lower was bent in a way to clear the frame so I wouldn' t have to cut into. THanks again and let me know about a job.

Mike;
I finally saw the article you are talking about. That truck in the article is sitting on 18' s and the inner fender wells are still in and the truck is actually sitting on the modified y-pipe. :)

Being that it was our shop truck and it did see some miles we didnt want to hack the front end out. Plus we do have to keep it somewhat realistic. I dont want a customer to assume his truck will do that our of the box because it wont. We do not want to misrepresent the product.
