New here, so why not ask somethin nice n technical?
I am considering bagging my 93 VW eurovan. The rear is a piece of cake, coil springs with externally mounted shocks. The front is looking to be tricky, as it is a torsion bar setup.
Do I remove the torsion bar entirely, or do I just leave it there as a locating link of sorts?
The front shocks on this vehicle are already very short, probably about 1' extended. Would it be better to replace with shock with a shock/bag combo, or leave it and fabricate a plate to mount a conventional airspring?
Let me know, as I am curious about taking on this project.
