i am about to purchase a 2001 mustang and i want to bag it. my car before this was a 2001 eclipse that had strutbags that were similar in design to your airstruts.
these strutbags were quite possibly the worst ride i had ever felt...even worse than cylinders.
so what i want to know is, which is better for an everyday driver? cool ride or airstrut? has there been many complaints about either regarding annoying noises and a harsh ride?...it seems like the cool ride would be better because it uses the stock shocks...but i don' t know.

They both give good ride quality. The Air Struts are for high performance application but can be used with a daily driver also. It' s just hard to overcome the extra cost unless you are going to use it. For most daily drivers I would use the CoolRide.

i got cool ride. its ok i guess.. if you like the sound of a compressor behind you. and the 25 straight hour installation. although i think my ride may have been equally or better with stock springs.
