1961 Pontiac Bonneville

Guys I just picked up a 61 Bonneville bubble top, and I am looking to do an air ride suspension on the car, I do believe it is the same suspension setup as a 61 Impala bubbletop (don't quote me on that) if so, I could use this setup on my bonneville correct? I would like to go with the shockwaves preferably?

I am also interested in the control arms as well if they would fit?

No, actually the early full size Pontiacs do not share the same suspension as the Chevy's. We would have to use universal parts on it. We could possible fit a Shockwave or Coolride in the front. For the back, we would be looking at a CoolRide.

Universal Shockwaves information - I would definitely go for the 1000 Series on the front. You would just need to figure out the lenght and mounting styles required.

Universal CoolRide information - For that car you would be looking at the 224 air springs.

Thanks Darren! How do I measure the actual length that is needed for the shockwave, is there a tech section for that I can read? I will do my research and when I come up with what I think I need I will post for your feedback. What would be your tank recommendations, also is it possible to use the level pro system with this setup so that it hits the ride height every time?

yes, we can definitely add the height sensors to it. I would definitly use the 5 gallon tank on a car that size.

Measure from the upper shock mount to the lower shock mount, with the car at ride height.
