33 Ford Update II

A couple years back we bought a Factory Five 1933 Ford Kit that we were extremely excited about building. We had plans to turn it into a performance streetrod for 2011 show year… but then… Well things kinda got sidetracked. Between the Velocity being auctioned off at Barrett Jackson earlier this year and the 48HourCamaro build in May, there was little time to get our elbows greasy on our first streetrod build.

But now things have sort of calmed down and the build has been revived. There has been a lot of work done on the streetrod these past couple months, it’s finally starting to resemble our original vision. Most of the chassis work is done, the engine and transmission are in, and the body panels are going on. We’re shooting to have the streetrod done for next year’s events so work on the car has been accelerating. Look out for more updates about this project later this year. For now enjoy some of the build photos below:

Looks great from what I see. Love all the choices you have made thus far. Except…I would like to see it with fenders and running boards. But, like everything else, that’s just my opinion. Although, I’m curious to see if anybody else has the same thoughts. Keep us posted with pic’s and any changes ya’ll decide to make….A faithful reader…APS

chassis looks very busy…not nice very messy..not sure..thought you guys could have done better.looks like you copied a gt 40 chassis and just stuck shit everywhere actually..but car looks awesome in rendering..

The chassis is part of the Factory Five Kit so we didn’t have much leeway there. Its all aluminum and so its very stiff, durable, and lightweight. When its all said and done it will look a lot cleaner.
