As a reflection of the radical improvements in performance and durability that RideTech has implemented in their shock program over the last 3 years, all RideTech shocks sold after January 1,2013 will carry a 1,000,001 mile warranty!

Why?

At this point all RideTech shocks…ShockWaves, Coilovers, Struts and the new Q Series Smoothbody shocks use this new monotube platform. This 1,000,001 mile warranty is a demonstration of our confidence in this program.”

Details

• All RideTech shocks sold after January 1, 2013 are included in the 1,000,001 mile warranty program.
• After your shock purchase from RideTech or a RideTech dealer you must register your purchase at www.ridetech.com/shockwarranty within 30 days
• If your RideTech fails to perform properly within the next 1,000,001 miles, RideTech will repair that shock free of charge. The only exclusion is obvious external damage [accident, abrasion, etc.]
• If you sell your car before the warranty expires, the warranty can be transferred to a new owner by going to www.ridetech.com/shockwarranty to register the new owner.
• Anyone who expires their RideTech 1,000,001 mile shock warranty will get a picture of themselves and their car in a fullpage ad in Hotrod Magazine!

Q-Series – OEM Monotube Shock Replacements

Ridetech’s new smooth body shocks are an important step in suspension technology. With its compact design, smooth body shocks are specifically developed to fit into a variety of stock shock locations. This opens up Ridetech’s shock line to any builder wanting to upgrade their ride quality without reworking their entire suspension design.

Using the same monotube design as the ShockWave and Ridetech Coilover, new smooth body shocks are developed with a significantly larger piston. When compared to a twin tube design, the Ridetech monotube shock provides approximately 150% additional effective oil control surface area, giving it the advantage when dampening suspension travel. In addition, the monotube design supplies a more efficient oil flow path that leads to cooler operating temperatures and consistent performance in extreme environments.

To develop the shock, Ridetech hooked up with Fox Racing Shocks, a brand who has had its hands in the bicycle, motorcycling, offroad, and military markets for over 35 years. Fox and RideTech both have had plenty of experience testing, developing and refining the entire ride quality and handling aspect of suspension design. So this shock not only fits…it works!

In a continual effort to improve air suspension technology, Ridetech has recently chosen the new AMK compressor to be bundled with 5 gallon compressor systems. This compressor has an improved flow rate with less noise and proves to be a simpler solution to a 2 compressor system with no compromises. The compressor is available to purchase as a separate unit or as an upgrade to a Ridetech 3 gallon compressor system.

AMK compressor output is approximately double of the previous Thomas compressors. This is the same basic unit that is used on several European luxury cars such as BMW and Mercedes to operate their air suspension systems. The AMK compressor is quieter, more powerful, and draws less power than the standard compressor. Only one AMK compressor is required to fill a 5 gallon tank. The kit includes the mounting feet, filter, wiring plug with fuse, and a 1/4″ outlet fitting.

Heavy duty truck are the perfect application for an air suspension. The weight load of these truck can vary by several thousand pounds from trailers, people, or other cargo. With a traditional leafspring suspension you are forced to endure a harsh ride quality when unloaded in order to accommodate any anticipated cargo when loaded. With air suspension, however, you can adjust the spring rate via air pressure to be appropriate for any cargo load, light or heavy!

RideTech has introduced their new HD 4 Link rear suspension to fit a wide variety of heavy trucks. The HD 4 link offers a huge improvement in not only ride quality, but also load capacity and handling performance as well. By virtue of its highly adaptable design and weld-on installation it will fit a wide range of ½ ton to 1 ton trucks.

The HD 4 Link features 1.5” diameter .188” wall DOM tube 4 Link bars, large durable poly bushings, 2” diameter .250” wall tubing bridge, .250” thick plate steel brackets, and Firestone airsprings with a total load capacity of around 7,000lbs.
