The 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour kicked off on Saturday, and as usual, when you get this many gearheads together your bound to have a good time. Since the Street Challenge Autocross has proven to be so popular the previous 2 years, it was moved to the opening day this year to allow more time for participants to make passes. The plan worked. Over 150 cars made a run through the autocross course even in the rain.
We’ve tried to capture the essence of the event in video and film to share with those of you that couldn’t make it this year. Of course, our attempt comes up short from the real experience, so start making plans to join us next year.
