This coming weekend will be the 6th Annual Bowler Transmissions Day at the Strip event in Lawrenceville, Illinois. The way we see it, this event is just about perfect. There a classic style Cruise-In through the city of Lawrenceville to the “Dairy Dee”, there’s a Car Show, there’s live music, there’s BBQ & hot dogs, and more…
The “and more” just might be the best part! How about an autocross and drag racing on a historic air strip! By historic we mean historically cool – check out this video from Lawrenceville in 1955 that was posted on youtube:
