Britt Marolf, head engineer at Ridetech, and the 48HourCamaro are a force to be reckoned with. After taking first place in the Optima Faceoff autocross last week, Britt went on to dominate the GoodGuys Des Moines autocross this past weekend. Not only did Britt win the PRO class on Saturday with the 48HourCamaro, he also went on to win on Sunday, when late model cars are allowed to run, with the Ridetech 2010 Camaro. A pretty good achievement considering the 2010 Camaro is completely bone stock apart from the newly developed Ridetech coilovers that were installed a few weeks prior.
Ridetech was dominating the autocross in other ways too; in general a vast majority of the top finishers were using Ridetech components. Some highlights were Rock’n Rob McGreggors C10, Tyler Gibson’s Chevy truck, and Jimi Day’s AMX.

Des Moines Gallery
A lot of fun was had at GoodGuys Des Moines. The state fairground, where the show is held, is a great location for participants to cruise and to grab some good eats.
