All Out in Austin: Super Lap Battle 2022

On February 19th-20th, cars from across North America made their way to Austin, Texas, for Circuit of the America’s Super Lap Battle. The track was a hotbed of activity throughout the two-day event, which featured the Grid Life Touring Cup, Lone Star Drift demos and a whole lot more.

Forty-eight drivers. Five classes. Cars ranging from Civics and Subarus to Vipers and McLarens. On both Saturday and Sunday, cars ripped around the track battling for top honors. As the racing continued, hot rods and street machines of all kinds rolled into the Just Vibes car show.

By the end of the weekend, Feras Qartoumy had the fastest lap of 2:03.974 in his 1200-horsepower turbocharged Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The lap was also the RWD record. Click here to see a detailed report of the race results.
