ID:	59239I just forked our a small fortune to purchase the tri5 Chevy air bag suspension kit. My car was already lowered with coil overs up front and 4” in the rear ( 2” blocks & 2” springs ).

I guess I should have done more research before dropping so much money but it’s water under the bridge now. Long story short. I need my 55 to sit lower when parked. Much much lower.

this system just makes my car look like it’s lowered 1”. It was quite a bit lower with my old setup. Obviously I won’t be able to return this kit for a refund or I would. With people wanting to slam their cars now days I cannot believe this kit won’t go nearly low enough.

do any of you know of other ways to get this kit lower ? I just ordered 2” drop spindles but even then, my car will sit about where it did before, with the coil overs. I need to tuck the wheels and sit it LOW when parked. It’s the whole point of going with an air bag system.

would it be possible to switch out the bags with shorter ones? Say 4” lower than the ones that come with the kit? Then when I want to drive the car I can raise it up the 3/4 inches , which will put me right where it is now..plus I’ll have a comfortable ride ? Since these bags are brand new do you think ridetech will work with me on replacing them ? If it’s about safety I’ll sign a waiver. I don’t care.

I really hope I can get help with how to tick my car and sit it nearly on the frame. It’s the look I’ve dreamed of for years and this whole adventure will be an expensive mistake for me if I can’t make it happen. I drive this car all over the place and want nothing more than to take stance pics all over America. I just got back from a 2500 mile trip in 5 days and the only thing missing was being slammed!!!

    help. Please. Thank you.

Those pics I posted above were from Last month. And how my car sat before I ordered air system from ride tech. The car sits way higher now with the air system. I wanted it to sit even lower than it does in my pics... I hope to get it to be like this when parked and how it looked with my old setup when driving Click image for larger version Name:	C6FCAA7D-4E4F-4A06-84F5-0D69843B9178.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	44.1 KB ID:	59244

Glad we were able to chat on the phone yesterday about your 55. Beautiful car sir. Keep me updated once you get your drop spindles installed & the 4-link fully installed with the shock mounts installed where we discussed.

ID:	59267 Matt. Thank you so much. You were awesome to chat with and you are full of knowledge. I finally got my new drop spindles hubs and brackets today and just threw them on. It is PERFECT. It is exactly what I hoped for. I haven’t done the rear yet as the front has consumed me, but the good news is the car gives me exactly the stance I want when deflated and inflated with the drop spindles. Before the drop spindles it just wasn’t right.

The drop spindles give me best of both worlds and at 100 psi the height is too high ( will be my setting for speed bumps, etc. ). From what I can tell the bags will be around 90psi for my cruise / drive setting. All in all I have the flexibility needed for all types of road conditions. I honestly recommend you mention the tri5 kids should have drop spindles to maximize the kit. I’ll post pics when it’s all done in a few days. You’re awesome. I couldn’t be happier with the front. I hope I’m just as happy with the rear.

totally deflated. 1/4” from the ground.

ID:	59274 I have another 1.5” up front where the car can come down but unfortunately this is where it’ll have to be. I’m laying on my transmission pan in this picture and it’s preventing the car from going any lower. I don’t want to mess with installing a trans tunnel to get an extra inch. All in all I am happy and should have everything finished up this week. Thanks again.

Damn she LOW now! lol Can't get much lower than sitting the transmission pan on the ground. I knew adding the drop spindle would get you where you wanted to be.
