Gallery – 2019 Danchuck Tri-5 Nationals – Hot Times

Early August in Bowling Green Kentucky can make for some hot times to be sure. This year’s Danchuck Tri-5 Nationals certainly raised the heat by packing in thousands of hot 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevy cars of every conceivable variety.

It is hard to think of a more iconic car than a TRI-5 Chevrolet. These cars were hot from the moment they hit the showroom floor in 1955. From there, in 1956 and 1957, they only picked up more steam! Available in so many variations, these cars offered something for everyone… and still do.

From convertibles to station wagons, four door hard top to two door post, and every other option in between, it is easy to see why Chevrolet sold nearly 5 million of these cars in only a three year time frame. It is amazing to see is just how popular, relevant and prevalent these cars still are over 60 years later.

The 2019 Danchuck Tri-5 Nationals at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green Kentucky enjoyed great weather and packed out the grounds with every known combination of 55, 56 and 57 Chevy. The action on the track was matched by the quality of cars on the grass. There was a steady stream of entertainment for all ages and if you came away from this event without having a great time… Well, we just don’t know what would get you going, because this was one hot ticket!

Of course the RideTech display trailer was on hand showing all the latest hot rod suspension products – not only for Tri-5 Chevy’s but for all the cars and trucks that were left at home in the garage too. We had a great time talking to customers, and soon to be customers about their cars and how we can help keep these cars on the road and performing for many more years to come.
