Good-Guys Atlanta started out with a cloudy Friday morning, but turned out to be a nice day. Saturday it was hot! The morning started with a short rain shower. The clouds let up and gave us a nice day to have some fun. The autocross began around noon after the course dried up.
We started out the autocross with only a few cars but it finally caught on, and before you know it we had many street rods, trucks, and muscle cars having a great time on the course. We thought it was a good show we hope everyone had a great time.
Brad and I drove the 1970 Chevelle RS Giveaway car to Atlanta, and if you were at the show you saw us race it hard all weekend. The 4200lbs Chevelle missed 1st by only a fraction of a second in the hotly contested Vendor Class.
Driving the car back to Jasper, Indiana, people sure enjoyed seeing the car on the road, especially in Nashville TN. We cant wait to head back there in a few weeks for the Nashville Good-Guys event on June 27th – 29th. If you haven’t made to a Street Challenge Autocross click here to view more info and dates.
