Top 10 Changes for Ridetech in 2012

We at Ridetech hope you all had a fantastic holiday season. We are extremely thankful to all who supported us in 2011 and are excited to support you in 2012 as we have several new plans lined up for this year. To help present what we have going on for this new year, we wrote up our top 10 changes for 2012, check them out below:

1. New Shock Lineup

In a continual effort to refine and upgrade the ridetech product line we have transitioned ALL RideTech coilover AND ShockWave products to our new impact forged monotube shock cartridge! We introduced this cartridge in 2010-11 in our new coilover line and its success has led us to switch everything over to that design. Check out the new RideTech Coilover and ShockWave line up online.

2. New Show Schedule

We plan to attend many new shows this year without sacrificing shows we already currently attend. This year the Ridetech booth will further utilize the suspension analysis program for customers who want to get some feedback on their suspension setup. Since we introduced the program late in the show schedule last year, we’re giving people at the earlier shows a chance to get their car weighed. This year’s show schedule is currently being compiled, but will be available online soon.

3. More Live Posts on Facebook and Twitter

With your help we were about to connect over 9,000 fans to our facebook and twitter pages last year. Many of you interacted with us at the shows and the plan is to step up that interaction this year through special offers and contests. If you aren’t already a fan, checkout our facebook and twitter pages.

4. 1933 Ford Build & Design Contest

The build is getting serious now. We’ve got plans to finish our factory five 33 ford project and to run it in an autocross this year! With the car coming together and with plans to wrap the car in a vinyl graphic, we are hosting a design contest on our website to get some fresh ideas. The winner of the contest will receive a $500 Ridetech gift certificate. For more details about the contest, click here.

5. New Powersports Trailer, Events, and Products

Ridetech has a new show trailer for 2012 for our UTVs, it will be used to travel across the country to participate in UTV rides and shows. This year we are revamping our powersports product line by introducing our monotube shocks on our ShockWaves and by offering our coilover line to the powersports market. Our powersports program also continues to grow as we offer more and more applications, for a application product list click here.

6. New Products

Our engineers continue to refine and develop products for existing and new vehicle applications. Last year we introduced the highly successful Tru Turn steering components, and this year we hope to expand upon it as we add more applications. We’re also working on a few secret projects that will be revealed later this year.

7. New Website

Our website has recently been revamped. With the new revisions the site includes many new features including but not limited to new tech pages, customer cars, products, and navigation menus. The evolution of our website is a constant process, so we’re curious to hear your thoughts on it. If you fill our website feedback form you will be entered for a chance to win a FREE t-shirt!

8. Smart Phone Applications

Mobile technology is becoming more and more accessible, and in light of that we plan to jump on board the growing market by releasing a spring rate calculator app later this year. Based on our current online version, the application will help car builders find the proper spring rate or preload for their project. Stay tuned as we will reveal more information.

9. More Testimonials and Videos

In 2011 we released dozens of tech, testimonial, and event videos. This year will be another huge year for video. We’re hoping to continue to release tech videos covering all sorts of topics concerning suspension systems. Our video site will continue to expand in 2012.

10. New Coilover Catalog

The next coilover catalog is in the works, it includes some new products and technical information. This will properly separate our air and coil suspension lines into two books which should help tailor our products for different types of customers. When it is released, check out our catalog request page to get the new book.
