Win Prizes, Party Hard…The Road Trip: Cars & Cones

Custom and classic cars bring people together; that simple statement is THE bottom line. It is the lowest-common-denominator for our great hobby and industry. RideTech lives and breathes that concept on a daily basis, including weekends! We love to tour our beautiful country in old cars…we love to conquer autocross courses and meet, greet and hang out with fellow enthusiasts…and at the end of the line, we like to throw a giant party at our headquarters with great food and amazing, live music.

If all of this sounds like your definition of a big time, then RideTech has three words for you: Cars and Cones.  The second annual FM3 Road Trip: Cars & Cones 2017 is a five-day-long tour with daily 100-200 mile scenic tours, four autocross events, and social events.  The tour ends at RideTech HQ where we are throwing a big bash with barbecue and a live acoustic set from our good friend and car-guy troubadour, James Otto.

According to FM3, there will be more than $70K in prizes raffled off during the event including a RideTech StreetGRIP suspension.  We hope you can make it out on the tour. If you can’t attend, be sure to visit our Facebook page as we will live stream regularly during the event. See below for some pictures from last year.

SPONSORS: RideTech, Baer, Holley, Forgeline, Optima, Falken, H&S Insurance, ARP, Franklin Road, Mac’s, HP Tuners, Quick Trick, Red Kap and Buffalo Wind Wings.

This shot from last year epitomizes Cars & Cones’ vibe. It’s “Bumper to Bumper” cool cars all the time and across four states.

As the Road Trip winds through Kentucky, stops are made at Bourbon Distilleries. It’s like wine tasting, only different.

Here is last year’s RideTech prize winner before his new StreetGRIP suspension system was installed.

After the kit install, the Camaro had a whole new attitude. Congrats to Todd Earsley for winning a StreetGRIP suspension system.

If you’ve never driven though the middle of the country, join us for the Road Trip: Cars & Cones event. There is still a small number of open spots remaining. As was the case last year, expect to tour back roads with about eighty enthusiast cars of all makes, models, and years.

This year’s Road Trip: Cars & Cones passes through Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana.

RideTech HQ is the finish line for the FM3 Road Trip: Cars & Cones. We’re throwing a big party with barbecue and music…and cars.

If you are local to the Jasper, Ind. area, stop by for the party — even if you can’t make the tour.
